Fox and Friends

I love this SU set.  Sadly, it's retiring at the end of May.  I've had so much fun with this set!!  Here's a glimpse of just a few cards I've made with this set!

Baby and Kids Birthday Cards . . . I always need these!!

These were so much fun to make!  It was also my first time playing around with inks and sponge daubers.

I made these as thank you cards when Jude was born.  I just wanted something simple and cute and thought these qualified.  :)  The background alphabet stamp is also retiring. Another one of my favourites.

It's Been Awhile . . .

I love cardmaking. It fills my God given need to create. The other great thing is, with little one's around, it's also the instant gratification I need to actually complete something when I sit down to craft. It's been awhile since I've posted any pictures and I have a whole tonne that are just waiting to be shown off so here's a few for your enjoyment :)

These are all made using the Stampin Up Stamp Set Have a Seat. I really like this set! It's simple but makes for some amazing cards. I also am really enjoying the A to Z background stamp. It is good for so many projects.

I also had a new experience. A neighbour asked me to help her out. She was helping out with an Indian wedding and needed a seating chart for the next afternoon. My instructions were to use red, gold, as much shimmer, glittler and sparkle that I could possible muster up. Well, since that's just not my style it was a little challenging but I loved the result!! Unfortunately the pictures were not fantastic because I was really in a rush working to get it done. I wish I had a picture of the whole thing in the frame but see what you think of it.

October Class

This is from my October class! Slowly but surely I'm working on updating my blog updated to the present time. Both of these cards are made using the Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories stamp sets.

Updating my Blog

I will be updating my blog soon as we will be getting a new computer which will actually allow me to upload pictures from our camera. I'm looking forward to sharing all kinds of great cards that have been made in the past few months!!

Stampin Up! Card Classes

This year I am going to be running two types of classes. One will be a Card Club and the second will be a Drop in Class.

Card Club

This class will meet once a month to make 2 - 3 cards or projects. Every member of this club will commit to purchasing a set amount monthly. The advantage of this will be that each member will have an opportunity to be the hostess which will mean that they will recieve a free stamp set and a minimum of $20 in free Stampin Up merchandise on their hostess month. (Your month to be the hostess will be decided by a draw) The amount depends on the number of people who sign up for this class. Please contact me if you are interested. This class will run one Monday a month on the following dates: September 20, October 18, November 15, December 13, January 17, February 14 (28th if the group would prefer to have Valentines day free) and March 14. If you cannot make one of the classes you can just e-mail me your order and I can make the cards for you to pick up when you get your order. In this class you will also have the opportunity to make some projects using the Big Shot. Come join us for an evening of fun!!

Drop In Class

This class will run one Friday a month and you can drop in for a cost of $8. This is just a fun drop in class and a good opportunity to try out cardmaking. We will make a couple of cards each time we meet. You do not need to be able to attend every week just let me know at least a week in advance if you are coming so I have enough supplies. Every session will have a theme. The dates for this class will be: September 24, October 22, November 19, December 17, January 21, February 18 and April 15.
