Stampin Up! Card Classes

This year I am going to be running two types of classes. One will be a Card Club and the second will be a Drop in Class.

Card Club

This class will meet once a month to make 2 - 3 cards or projects. Every member of this club will commit to purchasing a set amount monthly. The advantage of this will be that each member will have an opportunity to be the hostess which will mean that they will recieve a free stamp set and a minimum of $20 in free Stampin Up merchandise on their hostess month. (Your month to be the hostess will be decided by a draw) The amount depends on the number of people who sign up for this class. Please contact me if you are interested. This class will run one Monday a month on the following dates: September 20, October 18, November 15, December 13, January 17, February 14 (28th if the group would prefer to have Valentines day free) and March 14. If you cannot make one of the classes you can just e-mail me your order and I can make the cards for you to pick up when you get your order. In this class you will also have the opportunity to make some projects using the Big Shot. Come join us for an evening of fun!!

Drop In Class

This class will run one Friday a month and you can drop in for a cost of $8. This is just a fun drop in class and a good opportunity to try out cardmaking. We will make a couple of cards each time we meet. You do not need to be able to attend every week just let me know at least a week in advance if you are coming so I have enough supplies. Every session will have a theme. The dates for this class will be: September 24, October 22, November 19, December 17, January 21, February 18 and April 15.

Baby Cards

I love making baby cards! They always turn out so cute! I had fun using my new square lattice texture folder in my big shot too! Here's a few I made last night for a customer. If you are interested in buying cards, supplies or joining classes just let me know. I'd be happy to get you set up!

Fathers Day

For Father's Day Noah and I worked together to create a Father's Day card. Noah finger painted a giant poster board card and then another smaller paper. I took the small finger painted creation and turned it into a tie which I attached to a shirt! It worked great! Check out our pictures! We had a great time. Noah also discovered that finger paint does not taste so good!

Noah trying to figure out what I gave him to play with.

He caught on really quickly!

Think Happy Thoughts

I had two orders of cards to make and decided they could both be filled with the same style of card so I had a bit of a production line going. They were so nice and colourful I had to take some pictures. Also, I promised my friend Bev that I would ATTEMPT to update my blog weekly so here's this weeks. Enjoy!!

Thrown all together. I love how bright and colourful they are!!

These are upside down but it still shows how cute these cards are!!

A couple close ups.

Obviously I need to learn a thing or two about blogging because I cannot figure out how to rotate pictures. The blogging is a work in progress. :)

Naps N' Scraps

Time is hard to come by these days as I have a 1 year old son who is into everything. I find that the only time I have to pull out my card making 'stuff' is when my little guy is napping or in bed for the night. Thus Naps N' Scraps was an appropriate name.

While I enjoy scrapbooking I find that it can be overwhelming since I want everything to be perfect. My wedding album is proof of that, it took over 3 and a half years to complete. I enjoy the instant gratification of making cards as completing a beautiful piece of art in a short period of time is easy.

I hope to be able to sell some of my cards and thus decided it would be a good idea to have a blog to showcase my creations.

Enjoy!
